Rajasthan invites bids for water supply of Kekri-Sarwar area

The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan has announced that it is inviting bids for the rehabilitation of the water supply system in the Kekri-Sarwar area under the JMM scheme. The project involves the strengthening and rehabilitation of the water supply system for the Kekri-Sarwar sector, along with the water production system in the Ajmer district, sourced from the Bisalpur Dam under Package IV. This includes the pumping system, overhead service reservoirs (OHSRs), and distribution system, as well as Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC).

The contract, valued at Rs 1.97 billion, has a completion timeline of 20 months and includes ten years of comprehensive maintenance following the completion of a one-year defect liability period (DLP). The deadline for submitting bids is set for 19th September 2024
