Plastics Recycling & UTECH India Concluded with Resounding Success

The inaugural editions of Plastic Recycling Show India (PRSI) 2024 and UTECH India - Sustainable Polyurethane and Foam Expo (ISPUF) 2024, organised by Crain Communications and Media Fusion, concluded successfully last December, setting new benchmarks in sustainability, recycling, and material innovation. Both events brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to drive meaningful conversations and showcase groundbreaking solutions that will shape the future of their respective sectors.

PRSI 2024 witnessed over 6,000 visitors exploring the latest advancements in plastic recycling, sustainable materials, and waste management solutions from more than 120 exhibitors. The event featured a packed conference, with sessions addressing extended producer responsibility (EPR), advancements in recycling technology, waste segregation strategies, and regulatory frameworks. Moreover, the Plastics Recycling Awards India recognized excellence in the industry. The awards celebrated individuals and organizations driving innovation and sustainability in plastics recycling across 6 categories, including Ganesha Ecosphere Ltd., Pashupati Group, DOMO Engineering Plastics India, Ishitva Robotic Systems and Banyan Nation winning accolades.

Simultaneously, ISPUF 2024 - along with the Sleep Expo India Pavilion - served as a premier platform for the polyurethane and foam industry, attracting 2,700+ visitors and around 50 exhibitors presenting cutting-edge polyurethane and foam innovations. The event’s knowledge-driven conference, featuring 18 expert speakers, covered key trends such as sustainable PU applications, advanced manufacturing processes, mattress manufacturing and regulatory developments.
