Government of Manipur seeks bids for civil works in Imphal

Water Resources department, Government of Manipur represented by:
Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, State of Manipur Water Resources Department Campus is engaged in the implementation of the work, “Rejuvenation of Lamphelpat waterbody to alleviate urban Flooding, providing sustainable Water Sources for Imphal City and Promoting Eco-Tourism”. and as part of this endeavour, the Authority has decided to undertake Package – IV (SH: Construction of bridge for Motorable, Pedestrian etc.) (the “Project”) through an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (the “EPC”) basis.

The main objective of the project is to develop lamphelpat into a water body, improve the drainage System around the Lamphelpat area with the objective mitigate flooding in the area. The project will also provide additional source for drinking water of Imphal city area.


Inorder to connect the Southern and Northern side of the waterbody, a cable bridge is to be constructed as part of the project.

This work package is related to the construction of cable bridge for connectivity of the Southern and Northern part of the waterbody.
