Construction waste plants for Mumbai likely by Feb next year

The BMC hopes to commission the two building and demolition waste plants at Gorai and Shilphata by February of next year, but they are currently looking for consultants to oversee the construction of the plants, which will handle roughly 1,200 tonnes of waste each day.

In February of this year, contracts for the two plants were given to AG Enviro Infra Proiects and Metro Waste Handling. Construction waste disposal issues should be solved by the plants that use construction waste to create pre-cast concrete products.
