NEC India unveils innovative smart city solutions

NEC Corporation India, an IT and networks technology firm, announced the launch of new solutions on Tuesday as part of its 'Global Smart City Suite.' The suite comprises NEC Mi-Command, NEC Mi-City, NEC Mi-Eyes, and NEC-WareSync.

The Mi-Command serves as an integrated command and control center, while the Mi-City solution functions as a citizen engagement portal. The Mi-Eye solution provides an intelligent video analytics solution, and Mi-WareSync operates as a warehouse management system.

The company stated that these solutions are designed to bring transparency and visibility to facilitate efficient management and decision-making. The goal is to ensure smooth operations among organizations and authorities, providing enhanced experiences for citizens, businesses, and communities.

To address the evolving needs of communities, businesses, and governments, these solutions focus on three key functions aligned with the vision of futuristic cities. These functions include strengthening the digital foundation, streamlining processes, and enhancing decision-making capabilities, according to the company.
