MoRTH has announced plans to award 15 port connectivity projects, totalling 352 km in length, in the current fiscal year and 17 additional projects, totalling 474 km in length, in the next fiscal year. These projects are part of a larger plan to undertake 55 port connectivity projects, covering a total distance of 2,772 km. The ministry has also identified 61 additional projects, totaling 1,264 km in length, as part of its Port Connectivity Master Plan.
