RITES Limited, a premier engineering consultancy firm, has clinched a significant contract worth $111.26 million to supply 200 broad gauge passenger coaches to Bangladesh Railways. This landmark deal is financed by the European Investment Bank, reinforcing the growing collaboration between India and Bangladesh.

The project, to be executed over a 36-month period, includes design, manufacturing, and supply of the coaches, along with providing necessary spare parts and essential training to Bangladeshi railway personnel. This contract is part of the 'Make in India' initiative, underscoring India's commitment to boost indigenous manufacturing and export high-quality products.

RITES' extensive experience and technical prowess have positioned it as a key player in international railway projects.
