PM Modi to visit Hyderabad to inaugurate various railway projects

In addition to launching the Vande Bharat Express between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch several railway projects in Telangana worth Rs 24 billion, according to a BJP press release. BJP State President and Lok Sabha Member Bandi Sanjay Kumar and OBC Morcha National President and Rajya Sabha Member K Laxman visited the Secunderabad Railway Station and met with South Central Railway officials in anticipation of Modi's visit to the state, the statement said.

The PM will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 7 billion modernization of Secunderabad Railway Station and remotely launch the construction of a Periodical Overhauling (POH) workshop at Kazipet, according to the statement.

The Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar doubling works, which will cost Rs 12.31 billion, will also begin, according to the release.
