The long-pending Indore- Manmad railway project detailed project report (DPR) is finalised. With a cost exceeding Rs.220 billion, it is under scrutiny before reaching NITI Aayog for endorsement and subsequently sent to the finance ministry. The cabinet's green light is crucial for project commencement. Stretching across 268 km, the line has 50 km of tracks laid between Dhule and Manmad. The remaining 218 km necessitates 2,200 hectares, featuring 300 bridges, nine tunnels covering 20 km, and 34 stations. Six districts will benefit from this rail link.
