Green line of metro rail resumes service

The completion of maintenance work on the roof of Arumbakkam Metro Station has enabled the full operation of CMRL's green line from St Thomas Mount to Central.

A temporary pause in metro services on the green line route occurred, as maintenance work was underway. Passengers were advised to opt for alternative routes during this period.

It was noted that the green line functioned exclusively on specific routes: from Central to Koyambedu, St Thomas Mount to Ashok Nagar, and from Airport to Ashok Nagar.
