Delhi Metro Aims for Three Phase-IV Corridors by 2026

Delhi Metro is set to significantly expand its network with the planned opening of three new corridors under Phase-IV by 2026. The upcoming corridors include the Tughlakabad-Aerocity (Line 10), Janakpuri West-RK Ashram (Line 8), and Mukundpur-Maujpur (Line 7) lines. Each corridor is strategically designed to connect major residential, commercial, and industrial hubs, thereby improving accessibility and reducing travel time for thousands of daily commuters.

Phase-IV of the Delhi Metro project is expected to add approximately 61.67 kilometres to the existing metro network and introduce 45 new metro stations. This expansion will not only cater to the increasing population of Delhi but also extend the metro's reach to areas that are currently underserved by public transportation.
