Bengaluru, Electronics City corridor to be completed by June 2023

The first section of the Namma Metro's yellow line from Bommasandra to Central Silk Board will open in June 2023. It is a stretch of road that runs beside the elevated Bommasandra-RV Road.

According to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) officials, phase II of the Central Silk Board to RV Road would open in December 2023.

The entire yellow line was originally slated to be completed in 2021, however, the deadline was later moved back to December 2022.

The section's completion date was pushed back to June 2023 due to a delay in getting rolling stock from the contractor.
