Afcons Infrastructure wraps up reach-2 of Kanpur Metro

Afcons Infrastructure Limited has completed the construction of 2,000 segments of Kanpur Metro's 7.144 km reach-2.

The Nagpur Metro Phase-1 Orange line project of 38.215 km, with seven elevated stations and a double-decker viaduct of 4.375 km, include a four-level structure at Gaddigodam square.

The company has already completed trial assembly and load testing for its open Web Girder bridge. It secured a contract of Rs 773 crore in 2017 for constructing reach-2 within 2.3 years.

The construction of the double-decker viaduct remains at the Orange line reach-2 of the Gaddigodam Railway Crossing and on Aqua Line reach-4's 1.6 km Vaishno-Devi Prajapati Nagar section, where another double-decker viaduct is being constructed.
