The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to widen the 165 km long Yamuna Expressway to eight lanes from the present six lanes. YEIDA has directed Jaypee Infratech to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for this expressway widening project within the next three to four months. The expressway connects Greater Noida with Agra via Mathura and is being widened to accommodate the increasing number of commuters.
