NHAI publishes notice for extension of bid submission date

National highway authority of India has published CORRIGENDUM NOTICE for due date extension of bid submission, RFP for Construction of Six lane access controlled Expressway from Km 83.500 to Km 127.000 (Diodarda to Udalpur of Tharad Ahmedabad Expressway- Design length 43.5 kms) under Bharatmala Pariyojana in the State of Gujarat (Package III) on Hybrid Annuity Mode.

The Government of India had entrusted to the Authority the development, maintenance and management of Tharad Ahmedabad Expressway including the section from Km 83.500 to Km 127.000 (the “Project”) of length 43.50 km on design, build, operate and transfer (the “DBOT Annuity” or “Hybrid Annuity”) basis, and has decided to carry out the bidding process for selection of a private entity as the Bidder to whom the Project may be awarded. Brief particulars of the Project are as follows:


The scope of work will broadly include rehabilitation, upgradation and widening of the existing carriageway to four lane standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/ or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, etc.

The project highway is a Greenfield alignment passing through Matpur, Ruvavi, Unava, Dabhi, Bokharwada, Pali, Bhandu, Motidau, Bamosana, Piludra, Deela, Chitrodamota, Chitrodipura, Lakhwad, Gunjala, Devarsan, Udalpur in Patan & Mahesana District of Gujarat.

Prior to or along with the Bid, the Bidder shall pay to the Authority a sum of Rs. 1,80,000/- (Rupees one lakh Eighty thousand only) as the cost of the RFP process transmitted online to NHAI.

Bid submission end date is extended to 5.06.2023 from its initial deadline of May 30, 2023.
