MoRTH initiates NH-522 four-lane expansion, reconstruction in Jharkhand

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has announced a tender for the expansion and reconstruction of NH-522 (formerly known as NH-100) in the Giridih and Hazaribagh districts of Jharkhand. This project aims to widen the road to a four-lane configuration while also incorporating paved shoulders.

The stretch designated for the four-lane expansion, along with paved shoulders, spans from kilometer 0 to kilometer 48. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model and is slated for completion within a span of 24 months.

The total estimated value of the contract is Rs 5.18 billion. Prospective bidders are expected to submit their proposals by the deadline of September 26, 2023.
