MLA Khageswar Roy initiates Rs 12.5 mn Paved Road Project in Rajganj

Khageswar Roy, the MLA of Rajganj, initiated the construction of a paved road in the Patilabhasa region, under the jurisdiction of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat in the Rajganj block.

The project, funded by the North Bengal Development Department, has a budget of approximately Rs 12.5 million. Notable attendees during the foundation stone-laying ceremony included Rupali Dey Sarkar, the President of Rajganj Panchayat Samiti, Ranbir Majumdar, a member of Zilla Parishad, and Prabha Kujur, the Panchayat Pradhan.

Khageswar Roy emphasised the significance of the road, highlighting the local community's demand for a paved infrastructure in the area. He expressed optimism about the positive impact the road construction would have on the residents of the region once completed.
