Infosys Foundation inaugurates three infra projects in Mysuru

Infosys Foundation, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Infosys, has inaugurated three development projects in Mysuru, Karnataka.

It has supported the rejuvenation of the Hebbal Lake and Sewage Treatment Plant worth Rs 107 crore and the Gorilla Enclosures I and II buildings at Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens at Rs 7.3 crore.

The CSR projects were virtually inaugurated by the district commissioner, Dr Goutham Bagadi and Chairperson of Infosys Foundation, Sudha Murty. All the events were held online through virtual mode, attended by all the senior officials of Infosys Foundation.

Sudha Murthy said that the company has always embraced its responsibility to create a positive impact on the environment, and it will continue to work so. The company is glad about the completion of these infrastructure projects in Mysuru and grateful to the Government of Karnataka for supporting the firm.

Being a part of these CSR infrastructure projects, Infosys Foundation will also support other infrastructures, including walkways, lighting, permanent fence walls, parks, garbage disposal facility, drinking water facility and tree covers.
