Guwahati's Zoo Road Flyover to be unveiled on October 18

During the inauguration of the Botanical Garden in Guwahati on October 1, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister, Assam, announced the much-anticipated inauguration date for the Zoo Road flyover, which has been christened as Shraddhanjali Flyover.

Sarma revealed that the flyover, aimed at enhancing transportation and easing traffic congestion, would be officially open to the public on October 18.

He stated that the construction of the flyover, stretching from Zoo Tiniali to Sundarpur on RG Baruah Road, with an extended section reaching Geetanagar on Mother Teresa Road, was underway. Originally, it was anticipated that the project would be completed by August 31. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 2.5 billion.
