The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has granted Dilip Buildcon Ltd a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a Rs 15,890 million road project in Karnataka, the infrastructure and construction company announced on December 17. According to a regulatory filing, the letter was received by the company on December 16.

From Maradgi S. Andola to the Baswantpur portion of NH150C, a six-lane "access-controlled greenfield highway" will be built. In the exchange filing, Dilip Buildcon indicated that the highway segment would be built over 65.50 km and would take 30 months to complete.

It further said that the project's operational duration would last for 15 years following the start of commercial operation.

The project is a component of the Center's Bharatmala Pariyojna programme, which aims to increase the nation's highway network.

Two days after the company's joint venture with RBL Bank completed the contract execution for a 10,610 million project that it had won from the Surat Metro Rail Corporation, Dilip Buildcon made its announcement.
