Belagavi-Chorla road work to begin

The Belagavi-Chorla road project will finally begin soon, Belagavi District incharge minister Govind Karjol reportedly claimed. Govind Karjol, the district in-charge minister, stated that NHAI is not proceeding with the construction of the road because Goa State has not handed over the road under its jurisdiction. The road is in disrepair, and there has been a significant delay in starting the work. Work was halted due to the transfer of authority for the 43 km stretch between Chorla and Belagavi to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
