World-Class construction equipment for concrete road projects

Macons Group is focused in its drive to provide state-of-the-art technology and quality-based world-class products.
Formed in 2000, Macons is committed towards manufacturing and ably supporting a wide range of products in stationary and mobile batching and mixing plants, self-loading transit mixer, wet mix macadam plant and kerbing machine. The company has contributed towards many national projects such as power, roads, bridges, airports, city infrastructure, etc.

With rapid change in construction techniques and growth in construction activities, concrete equipment too needs a paradigm shift. To cater to these construction equipment needs, the company has unveiled a high capacity concrete batching and mixing plant range MAC-112 with twin shaft mixer and MCP-BIN-90 with twin shaft mixer (in-line bin).

The compact MAC-112
The MAC-112 is currently working at a four-laning road project between Bathinda and Chandigarh.
The MAC-112 is compact, with the entire structure requiring minimum civil foundations (only four footprints) in comparison to any conventional plant. Its features include:

  • As it is supplied in a ready-to-use condition - completely pre-wired and pre-piped - no erection time is lost. It also allows clients to save time and cost through easy transportation and lighter assembling works when being shifted from one site to another.
  • Fitted with the latest batching software, the MAC model is specifically designed for the production of concrete at sites, where quality, flexibility and performance are the key features.
  • It is made with welded construction of steel profiles.
  • The complete structure is shot blasted before the primary coat of paint is implemented. Two coats of paint are applied on elements such as stairs, balconies, pavements, discharge mouths of the aggregates bins, to resist corrosion.
  • MAC requires less maintenance and it provides more than 100 per cent production, in turn leading to a decrease in production cost.
  • Longer life of wear and tear parts.
  • In-built control cabin not as an optional; excellent mixing quality; inbuilt pipeline of water, additive and pneumatics; tilting-type control cabin for easy transportation; heavy duty structure.
  • Increased efficiency on site as it takes only one operator to run the plant; and, separate power pack for open or close of mixer gate window, bypassing the need to start mixer motor during cleaning or maintenance.
  • Available with skid.

The innovative MCP-BIN-90
MCP-BIN-90, Horizontal MCP series concrete batching and mixing plant is an innovative product of Macons. It has been deployed in the Katni to Umaria concrete road project in Madhya Pradesh. Its features include:

  • It is entirely automatic with electronic load cell type weighing batching system for aggregates, cement, water and additives. The plant has an electronic weigh-batching system with PLC-based microprocessor control for aggregate, cement, water and additive, separately indicating the time, date, batch number, weight, etc, for each cycle.
  • The plant is equipped with six load cells for aggregate weighing, four load cells for cement weighing, three load cells for water weighing, and one load cell for additive weighing. The recipes, production quantity and batch size selection are to be entered and as per the production quantity selected, all the operations are carried out automatically with HMI and PLC or PC control panel.
  • It is available with PAN or single shaft or twin shaft and planetary mixer.

With the emerging new business models and trends in industries, Macons Group is focused in its drive to provide innovative design, state-of-the-art technology, and quality based world-class products, which are well-accepted in the market because of its prompt and effective after-sales service and higher performance on price ratio. Research and development is currently in hand to further extend the Macons product range.

Soon, the company is coming with new JVs.
