Boeing to inaugurate new engineering facility in Florida

Boeing announced its plan to establish a new engineering facility in Florida to support its defence and government services divisions, with intentions to fill nearly 200 engineering positions this year.

The facility, slated to open in Daytona Beach, will initially focus on engineering tasks for military aircraft programs and advanced technology capabilities, emphasising engineering design, research, development, and prototyping.

Boeing anticipates that the Daytona Beach facility will commence operations by late fall, with expectations to expand its workforce significantly in the coming years.
