Flight service from Toronto to Mumbai and a new seasonal flight As part of its winter schedule, Air Canada announced a new seasonal trip from Calgary to Delhi via London Heathrow and a new non-stop flight service from Toronto to Mumbai. According to a statement from the airline, this includes up to 11 weekly flights from Toronto to Delhi and Mumbai, daily flights from Montreal to Delhi, and daily flights from Western Canada to Delhi via London Heathrow. According to Air Canada, this calculated move into India will provide 40% more seats during the winter schedule. . The winter schedule for airlines in India commences at the end of October and goes up to the end of March next year. Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President for Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, stated that India was an important market for Air Canada, reflecting long-standing and growing family and trade ties between the two countries. He expressed their excitement about expanding their network to Mumbai and Delhi by building additional scale at their hubs in time for Diwali festivities that fall.
