India is now the world's second-largest ceramic tile producer in the world and the industry is poised for robust growth – it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.54 per cent to reach $17.36 billion by 2029. The current size of the organised sector is about Rs 72 billion while the unorganised sector accounts for nearly 60 per cent.
