The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has initiated a biometric survey in transit camps across Mumbai city and suburbs. On the first day, 195 tenants and residents from the Sahakar Nagar, Chembur, transit camp successfully completed the biometric registration process. The MHADA Mumbai Building Repairs & Redevelopment Board oversees 34 transit camps in Mumbai and its suburbs.
