PM Modi Inaugurates SOUL Leadership Conclave 2025 in New Delhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the first School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) Leadership Conclave 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Addressing an audience of distinguished leaders and young visionaries, he emphasised the importance of leadership in nation-building and Viksit Bharat. He stated, “Developing better citizens is essential for the nation, and excellent leaders are required in every field.”

Highlighting SOUL’s vision, the Prime Minister remarked that leadership development is the need of the hour. He noted that SOUL is not just an institution but the soul of India’s social fabric. He also announced plans for a new SOUL campus near GIFT City, Gujarat.

Building Leaders for a 21st-Century India Reflecting on Swami Vivekananda’s vision, Shri Modi stressed the power of strong leadership in shaping India’s future. He underlined that with a population of 140 crores, the country requires dynamic leadership across all sectors. He expressed hope that SOUL will nurture global leaders, including in politics, governance, business, and innovation.

The Prime Minister highlighted human resource potential, citing Gujarat’s development as an example of leadership-driven progress. He stated that the 21st century demands leaders who drive innovation, decision-making, and skill development. He praised SOUL for its structured approach to leadership training and noted its recent workshops for education officials and a leadership camp for Gujarat’s Chief Minister’s Office staff.

Preparing Leaders for Global Challenges Shri Modi underscored the necessity of world-class leadership for India’s growth. He stated that institutions like SOUL are not merely an option but a strategic necessity to develop leaders who balance global vision with local grounding. He highlighted the importance of policy-making, governance, and entrepreneurship in India’s development.

Quoting scriptures, he emphasised that great leadership inspires collective progress. He urged SOUL to instil a problem-solving mindset, risk-taking ability, and a commitment to excellence. He expressed confidence that the institution will shape leaders who drive disruptive change.

The Future of Leadership Development The SOUL Leadership Conclave, running from 21st to 22nd February, will host thought leaders from politics, business, media, sports, and social sectors. SOUL aims to train authentic leaders who rise through merit and public service rather than lineage. Shri Modi concluded by affirming that India’s leadership transformation starts today with SOUL.
