Maruti leases 270,000 sq ft at Tag Avenue

Maruti Suzuki, the leading passenger car manufacturer in India, has reportedly secured a lease for 270,000 square feet of office space in Tag Avenue, a prominent commercial building located in Gurgaon. This development comes in response to a request made by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar last year, urging the automotive giant to relocate its corporate office to Gurgaon. The request was accompanied by the allocation of 900 acres of land to Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Suzuki Two Wheeler India Private Limited in Haryana.

It's worth noting that Maruti Suzuki's current corporate headquarters is situated on Nelson Mandela Marg in New Delhi, and the company also maintains another office in Gurgaon's Udyog Vihar. Rahul Bharti, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, clarified that there are no immediate plans to relocate the corporate office from its existing location.

The developer of Tag Avenue, based in Gurgaon, has chosen not to comment on this matter, leaving the future developments regarding Maruti Suzuki's office space lease open for speculation. This leasing decision may signal the company's intention to expand its operational footprint while maintaining a strategic presence in the region.
