With a budget of Rs 0.73 billion, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority unveiled a development plan that included projects like road resurfacing, installing LED lights in rural areas, creating an outdoor gym, and beautifying road segments.

The resurfacing of the road from Char Murti Chowk to Tigri Roundabout, which would cost Rs 70 million specifically, is one of the plan's major projects. According to the GNIDA, the project's tendering procedure has already begun and should be finished in a month.

The CEO of the statutory organisation, N. G. Ravi Kumar, has directed departments to speed maintenance and building work as part of the GNIDA's growth push following the elimination of the electoral code. "Tenders for works have been issued by the Project Department, the Horticulture Department, the Electrical Engineering Department, and the Water-Sewer Department," the authority added.

Himanshu Verma, GNIDA general manager and officer on special duty, stated that the Project Department had issued tenders for 12 works amounting to Rs 0.47 billion. These works include tasks such as resurfacing the stretch from Char Murti Chowk to Tigri Roundabout, completing the Panchayat House near Shiv Temple in Pali, covering drains, cleaning drains in Sector 1 and Jewar 3, and developing residential plots in Pali.

Verma further mentioned that the Water-Sewer Department had announced tenders totaling Rs 0.17 billion. These tenders cover activities like maintaining and operating the 20 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant in Sector Ecotech III, electrical and mechanical works related to the Gangajal project zonal reservoirs, and GIS mapping.

He added that these initiatives aim to significantly enhance the infrastructure and improve the quality of life in Greater Noida. Verma also noted that the tendering process for all projects is anticipated to conclude within a month, following which the execution of the works will promptly commence.
