That’s why globally we invest 4.5 per cent of our sales into product R&D,” shares Sumit Joshi, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Signify Innovations India.

The company recently launched 3D printed luminaires—tailored products with half the carbon footprint of a traditionally manufactured metal luminaire. In the area of food availability, the company offers horticulture lighting that helps city farmers to boost crop yield and quality while lessening the distance from farm to fork.
