MSME Minister congratulates ISRO on Chandrayaan-3 success

Union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Shri Narayan Rane, extended his congratulations to the nation and the entire ISRO team on the successful Chandrayaan-3 landing via a tweet. He emphasised the substantial contribution of the Ministry of MSME, stating that along with the country's scientists, the ministry played a significant role in realising the Chandrayaan-3 dream.

Shri Rane highlighted that the Bhubaneswar Tool Room, under the Ministry of MSME, manufactured approximately 54,000 aerospace components of 437 types for the mission. IDEMI Mumbai, another institute under the ministry, also played a vital role in manufacturing parts for Chandrayaan-3. He emphasised that the mission's success would benefit not only India but the entire world, and it would mark a milestone in the country's space, science, and innovation sector during the celebration of Azadi ka Amritkaal.

Shri Rane acknowledged India's remarkable progress in the space sector under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership. He underlined the MSME sector's pervasive role in boosting the nation's production capacity, from Charkha to Chandrayaan. Shri Rane thanked the scientists and expressed confidence in the MSME sector's continued significant contribution to future space missions.
