Cooper’s stellar contribution to moon mission celebrated

Farrokh N. Cooper and his family received honours from Udayanraje Bhosale, Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, in recognition of their efforts to elevate Satara's profile nationally and internationally, following the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Cooper Corporation is being appreciated for manufacturing a crucial section of the crankshaft for the Chandrayaan – 3 mission. 

Bhosale said, “The resounding success of Cooper Corporation’s contribution to the Chandrayaan- 3 mission has not only brought laurels to the Cooper Corporation and its members but has also elevated the name of Satara to a prominent position at national and international levels. For the past 56 years, Cooper Corporation has been operational out of Satara and has been providing its products and services at National and International level. Their dedication to enhancing the reputation of Satara has been unwavering. Their pivotal role in the recent Chandrayaan mission, specifically in the production of the crankshaft, has again brought global recognition to the Cooper name, a matter of immense pride for both Satara and India.”

Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director, Cooper Corporation, said, “We received the request for a vital component of the crankshaft for ISRO's Chandrayaan -3 mission which was designed and provided by our team.
