India's Most Admired Companies

The wait is over and the much coveted CW Most Admired Companies of India results for 2014 are out! Touching 10 years in a row, this marks CONSTRUCTION WORLD´s continued quest for excellence in the construction and engineering space.

Every year, we recognise 10 outstanding organisations and bring them to the fore so they get their due accolades and inspire the industry at large to endeavour for excellence. This year, a total of 87 companies were put to vote by a discerning audience by industry professionals. Our voters were advised to take into cognisance not just the company´s performance, size and scale of projects, but also business practices, corporate governance, ethics, adaptability, social responsibility, transparency, environment-friendly and customer-centric policies. In addition to the criteria above, they were given the choice to include three companies of their own preference that were not in the original list of 87. As a result of this in-depth, industry-wide perception survey that saw 1,131 votes being cast, we are delighted to present the list of India´s 10 Most Admired Companies for 2014.

While the year gone by has been one of the most challenging for the sector in recent memory with lacklustre project off-take and clogged investments, the new Union Government has evoked hope and bolstered confidence for a revival in business. With industry players gearing up for growth in infrastructure and manufacturing alike, there´s no better time to acknowledge these frontrunners in the construction and engineering space who displayed strategic acumen and tenacity to surmount every adversity. Indeed, these winners have earned the admiration of the entire industry - customers as well as competitors - and will be felicitated at the 12th CONSTRUCTION WORLD GLOBAL AWARDS to be held later this year in Mumbai.
