YEIDA unveils schemes near Noida airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has introduced two enticing residential schemes, providing individuals with an opportunity to secure homes in proximity to the forthcoming Noida International Airport. The offerings include a flat scheme presenting 468 flats and a plot scheme featuring 1,184 plots ranging from 120 to 2,000 square metres in size.

For those interested in the plot scheme, applications can be submitted until September 1. A fortunate draw, scheduled for October 18, will determine the allocation of plots situated in sectors 16, 17, and 20. The plots are available at a rate of Rs 24,600 per square metre.

Day one witnessed an overwhelming response to the residential schemes, with officials attributing the heightened interest to the rapid advancement of the nearby airport, poised for commercial operations by 2024, and the array of infrastructure and industrial ventures along the Yamuna Expressway.

An official shared, "The plot scheme garnered a staggering 1,200 applications on the first day, reflecting the immense interest driven by the swift progress of the airport and the various infrastructure projects along the Yamuna Expressway."

YEIDA's ongoing 2 BHK flat scheme in Sector 22D has also garnered substantial attention. The 468 units of ready-to-move 2BHK flats have attracted over 3,000 applications, with more than 600 applicants having already submitted the security deposit, equating to 10% of the total flat cost - Rs 42.3 lakh. Initially intended as a first-come, first-serve basis, YEIDA has opted to conduct a lucky draw due to the tremendous response received from eager applicants.

These residential schemes represent a promising opportunity for individuals seeking homes within the vicinity of the Noida International Airport, adding momentum to the real estate landscape near this significant upcoming aviation hub.
