Real estate remains a top investment choice for high net-worth individuals, with Bollywood celebrities actively acquiring properties for both personal use and investment purposes. Prominent personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai have invested in various real estate ventures.

The Indian residential real estate market reached an 11-year sales high in the first half of 2024, driven by stable economic conditions and market confidence despite higher mortgage rates. Mumbai, the largest and most expensive property market, led this trend, consistently recording over 10,000 property registrations each month in the first half of 2024 and achieving year-on-year growth in registrations for 11 consecutive months since August 2023.
