Reliance & Oberoi Team Up for Luxury Property Management

India's largest private sector company, Reliance Industries Ltd, has entered into a partnership with The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts (Oberoi) to jointly oversee the management of three properties in India and the U.K., as announced in a company statement. These properties include the upcoming Anant Vilas Hotel in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of Mumbai, the renowned Stoke Park in the U.K., and another planned project in Gujarat.

The Anant Vilas Hotel in Mumbai, positioned as the inaugural "metro-centric property" under the luxury 'Vilas' portfolio managed by Oberoi, is strategically located in the thriving business district of Bandra Kurla Complex. This area is rapidly evolving into a multifaceted hub, encompassing business, hospitality, retail, dining, arts and culture, education, and residential elements, drawing a substantial number of residents and visitors to the city. Anant Vilas aims to enrich the hotel landscape within this business district by providing an iconic experience for discerning visitors.

Another significant property, Stoke Park in the U.K., will be jointly overseen by both companies. Stoke Park Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, possesses a portfolio of sports and leisure amenities in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, featuring a hotel, sports facilities, and one of Europe's top-rated golf courses. Oberoi will collaborate with RIL to enhance these facilities and transform Stoke Park into a world-class destination, offering an unparalleled experience to guests. Comprehensive upgrades to Stoke Park, including its golf and sports amenities, are currently in the planning stages.

Additionally, the two companies will collaborate on a new project in Gujarat, envisioned as an "iconic hotel project" aimed at boosting tourism potential in the state. This yet-to-be-named project is currently in the implementation phase, according to RIL. It's worth noting that Oberoi Hotels received the prestigious title of the world's best hotel brand in the 2022 Travel + Leisure, USA World's Best Awards. These awards, highly regarded in the travel industry, rely on readers to define excellence in hospitality and travel.
