Property prices in Bhopal set to rise by up to 250% in 230 locations

Property prices in Bhopal are expected to rise significantly, with increases ranging from 5% to 250% at 230 locations, as the district administration proposes a second hike in collector guideline rates this fiscal year. The new rates, to be applied from April 2025, will impact residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors.

This increase follows a similar hike earlier this year, with some locations seeing price rises up to 300%. The proposal has faced opposition, with local MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani advocating for a reduction in rates at certain locations. The revised proposal will be submitted to the Central Valuation Committee for approval.
