Prayagraj civic body proposes house tax rates for new wards

For the 20 Sangam city wards that were recently added to the city limits as a result of delimitation, the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) has recommended annual house tax rates.
House owners are also encouraged to submit recommendations and objections by the end of the month. For rapidly growing regions in the Mahewa, Naini, Dadri, Jhalwa, and Shantipuram wards, the highest yearly assessment rate of Rs 4/sq ft has been recommended.
The suggested tariff for Lawayan Kalan Ward in Jhunsi is Rs 3.50/sq ft, while it is Rs 3 for Chaka, Arail, Peepal Gaon, Bamrauli Uparhar, Bahamalpur, Malak Harhar, Kanihar, Andawan, Chhatnag, Haveliyan, Jhunsi Kohna, and Naini Dadri.
The tariff of Rs 2/sq ft has been recommended for Baswar, Mawaiya, Bhadri Amarsapur, Katka, Neevi taluka, Tenduavan, Mohabbatganj, and Sonauti Malwan.
