Mt. K Kapital to Launch Rs 25 Bn Fund for Housing Projects

Mt. K Kapital, a real estate-focused investment platform, is set to launch its second fund with a corpus of approximately Rs 25 billion to finance housing projects across major Indian cities. The Mumbai-based firm operates under a SEBI-approved Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) licence.

The company had closed its first fund with a total corpus of Rs 7.9 billion, of which nearly 50% had already been deployed across five projects. She mentioned that these projects, covering a total developable area of seven lakh square feet, were being developed by Keystone Realtors Ltd under the 'Rustomjee' brand in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). She added that the company intended to allocate the remaining funds by the end of the year.
