India considers small wind turbines for urban energy access
India’s carbon emissions are projected to increase by 4.6 per cent in 2024, accounting for 8 per cent of global emissions, as reported by the Global Carbon Project in its 2024 Global Carbon Budget. The report shows that global fossil CO2 emissions have reached a record high of 37.4 billion tonnes this year, marking a 0.8% per cent rise from 2023.
