Versatile telehandlers

Merlo telehandlers are a perfect solution for the real estate and construction industry.
State-of-the-art machine, Merlo telehandler can be used from the start to the end of any construction project.

Tunnel construction

Merlo machine is an advanced product available in the market today. It is a multi-tasking machine and can work 24/7 in any tunnelling project, due to the versatility provided by its various attachments and the tac-lock system, which enables one to change the attachments in less than five minutes.

Following are some attachments that the company has supplied along with the machine in some tunnel construction projects.

Tunnel rib handler It enables the machine to place tunnel ribs inside the tunnel.

Aerial work platforms
At high altitudes with a more than 50 gradient, it becomes almost impossible to use the traditional self propelled aerial work platforms. The Merlo telehandler with its specially designed aerial baskets and outriggers, provides a perfect solution to this problem. The aerial work platform can be utilized to do the welding of tunnel brackets and cementing of tunnel walls.

Preconstruction
Merlo machines have a digging bucket attachment available, which can be utilized to remove the loose soil after completing the digging process by using an excavator.

Plinth laying
Merlo machines come with an attachment of a 750 liter capacity concrete mixer that can mix concrete and unload it at the point where it is required due to its extensive reach.

Pillar erection
The concrete mixture attachment can be utilized to dispatch or unload concrete into the pillar moulds. Merlo telehandler has a machine height reach of 30 m, enabling in constructions of up to 10 storey buildings. While doing this, it can also lift other materials such as steel reinforcements that may be required during the project either by forks or as a crane.

Brick lining
While these machines can lift materials to extreme heights, it can lift palletised bricks and concrete up to a height of 30 m eliminating the need of a material lift or a tower jib. Along with this, it can lift cement or sand and other materials that may be required in this phase as planned.

Finishing
In the finishing phase of construction, all types of material lifting capabilities are required usually in the tune of 2 to 3 tonne. This can be accomplished by just attaching the machine with a crane hook attachment.

This attachment can help to move and lift tiles, cut marble, pre-fabricated window panes, doors, etc, at the work site quickly, thus enabling the quick movement, lifting and placement of material. This machine can also be used to move pipes to do the external piping for the constructed building. Also, in this phase, one can use the aerial work platform attachment to do the external plastering, painting, etc, with the largest deck available for aerial work platforms of 4.5 m or 15 ft wide. This machine completely removes the requirement of buying or hiring any other equipment at the job site. And it, at the same time saves on manpower costs extensively as well as increases the project completion time as the machine reduces material movement time at the jobsite reducing overall cost of the project. Thus Merlo telehandler becomes a boon for the real estate sector as cost per unit also comes down.
