The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) earlier required apartment complexes with 20 or more homes to have sewage treatment plants (STPs). Despite the existence of over a 1,000 such complexes, treated water from these STPs remains underutilised. Also many STPs are non-functional. BWSSB operates 33 plants capable of purifying 1,212 MLD. Some areas contribute treated water and out of the 1,212 MLD of treated water, 750 MLD is being reused.Delhivery launched an all-women logistics hub in Sikar, Rajasthan, and plans to replicate it in other areas.
