In an online ranking released by the Union Government, Udaipur has secured the 8th rank among the 100 smart cities of the country. As the government is making efforts to elevate cities’ infrastructure, private players are leaving no stones unturned to execute futuristic infra projects for the citizens and add value to tourism. Damodar Ropeways and Infra will be investing approximately Rs.200 mn to make a ropeway project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2022. The ropeway company has chosen two prominent locations for the project – FatehSagar Lake and temple Neemach Mata located on a hill on the banks of the lake. Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that 95% of the tunneling work for the Pink Line of Namma Metro is complete, with the 21-km stretch expected to be operational by 2026. Jogighopa Terminal Boosts Trilateral Trade

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated an Inland Waterways Terminal (IWT) on the Brahmaputra in Assam’s Jogighopa.
