The Smart City Ahmedabad Development (SCADL) will install 10,000 CCTV cameras around the city at several plots and establishments to help strengthen the security of land properties and to create digital fencing for surveillance purposes. The exercise will be divided into two phases. Phase I involves the preparation of a detailed survey of all the properties and tenders that have been floated. This will be followed by the marking of the logistical and administrative adjustments to install close-circuit cameras.
