REC, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the District Health Society (DHS) Raipur under its CSR initiative. REC will provide financial assistance of Rs 20.09 million for the procurement of health equipment for three Community Health Centres (CHC) and the District Hospital in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project, aimed at enhancing healthcare quality and accessibility, will be implemented by DHS Raipur. The agreement was signed by Dr Mithilesh Choudhary, Chief Medical & Health Officer, Raipur, and Shri Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director CSR, REC.Eicher Trucks and Buses introduced its electric-first Eicher Pro X Range at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, marking its debut in the 2-3.5T SCV segment. Designed in collaboration with logistics leaders, the Pro X Range offers the largest cargo space, best-in-class energy efficiency, and advanced driver-centric features like air-conditioned cabins and lie-flat seats. Manufactured at Eicher’s Industry 4.0 Bhopal plant with an all-women assembly line, it reflects the ‘Make in India’ ethos. Supported by a digital dealership network and strategic charging partnerships, the Pro X Range aims to transform last-mile logistics with sustainable, innovative, and customer-focused solutions.Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) has partnered with Interarch Building Products to promote steel as the preferred material for urban infrastructure, including multi-story buildings and data centres. This collaboration combines Interarch’s design and project management expertise with JSPL’s advanced steel manufacturing capabilities. They plan to conduct seminars, workshops, and technical training programs to promote steel construction. Additionally, both companies will advocate for policies that support steel-based building practices, contributing to India’s urban development goals.

Bengaluru’s Pink Line 95% Complete

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced that 95% of the tunneling work for the Pink Line of Namma Metro is complete, with the 21-km stretch expected to be operational by 2026. The corridor runs from Kalena Agrahara in South Bengaluru to Nagawara in the North, including a 13.8-km underground section from Dairy Circle to Nagawara. Jogighopa Terminal Boosts Trilateral Trade

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated an Inland Waterways Terminal (IWT) on the Brahmaputra in Assam’s Jogighopa. IRCON Wins $75M Mumbai Metro Line 6 Contract

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has declared IRCON International the lowest bidder for Package CA-233 of Mumbai Metro Line 6 (Pink Line), a 15.18 km corridor connecting Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala) to Vikhroli.
