UPNEDA awards off-grid solar project to Servotech Power Systems

The Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has awarded Servotech Power Systems an order for an off-grid solar PV plant. Servotech Power Systems Limited, a leading manufacturer of LED lights and solar products, has received an off-grid Solar PV Plant order from UPNEDA, according to a company statement.

The off-grid Solar PV power plant will be supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned by Servotech in various government office buildings in Uttar Pradesh.

The project has a total value of Rs 37.20 crore and is valid for a year. Servotech was initially given a Letter of Intent (LoI) for Rs 11.16 crore, which must be completed in a short period.

The project's execution is set to begin in the first week of December 2021, and it is expected to be completed in March 2022.

With a proud 17-year history, Servotech Power Systems specialises in renewable energy and is a leading manufacturer of inverters, batteries, LED lights, solar products, oxygen concentrators, and UVC germicidal products.

The state's development has resulted in an increase in energy demand. Energy production based on new and renewable energy sources is being given high priority and promotion in light of limited conventional energy sources and their limited exploitation, as well as increased environmental pollution. New and better opportunities to participate in energy production are becoming apparent. Along with biomass and small hydro, the groundwork is being laid for the development of large-scale solar energy projects with MW capacity. Grid-connected solar power generation and rooftop power generation are being worked on in the state.
