The total investment for these projects is expected to exceed Rs 33,600 crore. This pact is intended to support the development process by facilitating surveys, investigations, and the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), ensuring that the projects are completed in a timely manner while complying with relevant rules and policies from both central and state governments.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with the Department of Water Resources, Government of Maharashtra. It outlines the development of six PSPs, including Malshej Ghat Pumped Storage Project (700 MW), Aruna Pumped Storage Project (1,950 MW), Kharari Pumped Storage Project (1,250 MW), Humbarli Birmani Pumped Storage Project (1,000 MW), Aruna Kolamb Pumped Storage Project (1,200 MW), and Morawadi Majarewadi Pumped Storage Project (690 MW).

In return, THDC India is committed to diligently preparing and submitting Detailed Project Reports for each initiative, ensuring adherence to the established guidelines and timely project execution.
