Texmaco JV Wins Rs 179 Cr Nepal Hydropower Project

"Texmaco has announced that their joint venture company with SS Fabricators and Manufacturers has secured an order worth Rs 179.89 crore from SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company Limited. This project is currently in development in Nepal and involves the construction of a 900MW run-of-the-river hydropower facility.

The scope of work for this project includes various responsibilities such as procurement, fabrication, shop assembly, painting, testing, transportation, supply, erection, site testing, and commissioning of the Pressure Shaft Steel Liner.

In a separate development, Kilburn Engineering, a company controlled by the Kolkata-based Williamson Magor Group, has revealed its acquisition of ME Energy, a provider of waste heat recovery and waste heat reutilization systems, for approximately Rs 99 crore. This strategic acquisition is aimed at enhancing Kilburn Engineering's capabilities and strengthening its position in the thermal engineering systems market, as stated by the company in an official statement."
