SJVN issues EPC tender for 75 MW solar project in Bihar

SJVN Green Energy, a fully owned subsidiary of SJVN, has released a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 75 MW solar project in Banka, Bihar.

Tender details: - Submission deadline: September 10, 2024 - Earnest money deposit: Rs 75 million - Scope of work: Includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. The successful bidder will also be required to operate and maintain the project for three years.

Eligibility criteria: - Bidders: Must be registered Indian companies. - Experience: Bidders should have experience in designing, supplying, and erecting or supervising the erection and commissioning of a solar photovoltaic (SPV)-based grid-connected project with a cumulative capacity of at least 30 MW. Of this, at least one project should be 10 MW or larger and operational for at least three months. Alternatively, bidders may be developers of SPV-based grid-connected projects totalling 30 MW or higher, with at least one project of 10 MW or larger operational for at least three years. - Project experience: Bidders should have completed an industrial project in sectors such as power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, or coal mining, with a minimum project value of Rs 1.14 billion, operational for at least six months. - Financial requirements: Bidders? annual average turnover over the last three financial years, ending March 31, 2024, should be Rs 1.14 billion. The net worth must be positive for the previous financial year and at least two of the three preceding years.

Alpex, TP Solar Win SECI’s 400 MW Auction

Alpex Solar and TP Solar, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy, have won the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction to supply domestically manufactured solar modules.
