MSRDC floats EPC tender for 5 MW solar project in Maharashtra

Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy Limited (MREL) has issued an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) tender for the development of a 5 MW solar project which will be ground-mounted at Bhilkheda, Washim.

February 10, 2022, is the deadline for online bid submission. The technical bidding will commence on the next day and the pre-bid meeting will be taking place on January 24.

An earnest money deposit of Rs 2,00,000 must be furnished by the bidders. Additionally, the submission of 10% of the total contract value must be made by the successful bidder within ten days from the date of issuance of the letter of acceptance.

The work includes the design, engineering, commissioning, procurement, supply, insurance, packing, forwarding, loading/ unloading, transport, construction, installation, testing, and erecting of the 5 MW solar project. After the commissioning of the project, the successful bidder will be providing comprehensive operation and maintenance services for a tenure of ten years.

Furthermore, the necessary land development and transmission lines between the project to the nearest MSEDCL substation will be the responsibility of the successful bidder.

Solar power projects (grid-connected) having a total capacity of 3 MW or more must be developed and commissioned by the bidders in the past. Out of which, one project of 1 MW or higher capacity should be completed and successfully operating six months before the deadline for the bids.

Additionally, the average annual turnover of the bidders in the last three financial years should at least be Rs 100 million and above Rs 50 million during the last financial year. A ten-year solar module warranty must be provided by the bidder.
